Airy Chance Farm
Pioneer Equipment - 30th Anniversary - 1978 ~2008

Four very good looking ponies to a Pioneer Pony Forecart with custom made four pony evener.
Sure looks like fun.
Airy Chance Farm is located in the Heart of Alabama (geographically), and Alabama is the Heart of Dixie. We are 30 miles southeast of Birmingham and convenient to Interstates 65 and 20.
Please see the tabs above labled Vehicles/Harness, Pioneer Equipment, Farm Equipment and Miscellaneous. Lots of pictures and more to come. I have also added a link to Rural Heritage, great site, please visit it if you have not already.
First, I want to thank all of the visitors to this site. Since bring up this site in July of 2006 I have supplied forecarts, wagons, harness and other items from California to North Carolina, from the Dakota's to Arizona, and from Vermont to Texas. Some items I have shipped, some I have delivered and other customers have visited and picked up their purchases here at the farm. I have enjoyed meeting all of you either in person or over the net, thank you for shopping with Mrs Buggy and myself.
Our aim is to provide a quality product at a reasonable price. We take pride in the Pioneer Equipment line of Forecarts, Wagons, Plows, Sleds, PTO Carts and related items. There is a sign in the Pioneer office stating "The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is gone." More truth in this than most of us would like to admit. Fairview Country Sales supplies our harness (custom made usually with a 10 day or less turn around time). We sell collars by Coblentz Collars Ltd. Carts and formed evenres are made by Beechy Blacksmith. Others establish vendors provide us with rebuilt horse drawn equipment, wheel work, and other items for the mini, pony, horse or mule in harness. Our relationship with these suppliers goes back, in some cases, 20 years or more , which allows us to be consistant in what we have to offer. This also allows use to "service what we sell", with full support of these suppliers. We do not buy goods at auction and bring them back here for resale, having learned long ago that I am not smart enough to buy at auction and get the quality I want on a consistant basis.
Remember, driving and horse farming items are being used and made everyday. The problem is locating them and I can do that for you. Auctions can sometimes help you fullfill your needs but are you sure your paying too much? How about service and warranty work after the sale? Give me a call at 205-601-3158 or e-mail me at buggyscott@aol.com. There is no such thing as a problem, there are only opportunities. Due to the way the credit card companies are doing their customers, I have made a decission to not accept credit cards (or use them either), this will save both of us time and money. Sorry if this creates any problems but life is better if I do not have to fool with these guys.
